“Everything is coordination.”
That’s probably the phrase that stuck with me most during my years at university, and it has guided my career for the past two decades. Fascinated by human movement, I’ve trained my eye to read how the body works — and where it’s constrained — especially in sports, and in tennis in particular.

That passion brought one thing into focus: our experiences, our injuries and the way we play, all shape the body and force it to adapt, again and again.

My approach to coaching rests on one conviction: performance should never be built at the body’s expense, but in keeping with its capabilities, its limits, and its balance.

"Performance has to be built with the body, never against it."

Blending discipline with encouragement, my coaching is easy for anyone to follow: plain, logical language that leads to fast progress in every part of your game.

So don’t wait!!!

Clara VAISSIÈRES

For more than ten years, I’ve been teaching sports and tennis both in France and abroad. From U.S. college tennis to the Dominican Republic, my path has taken me through very different environments — an unconventional journey that taught me one thing above all:

There's no single right way to coach, only the way that fits each individual player.

What I love most is finding the click: watching closely, figuring out what’s holding a player back, then getting the right idea across with the right words, images, or drills.

In my coaching, I use biomechanics as a tool to understand how each player is built to move. Rather than imposing one standard technical model, I work with each player to build or sharpen a game that’s truly their own: one they understand and can repeat, for the long run.

Working as a woman in the still very male world of high-level tennis can be a challenge at times, but above all it’s a real asset: it lets me bring a different, complementary ear and perspective — to young athletes and professional players alike.

Now I can’t wait to get to work on your project, to get to know your game, your goals, and to find that one small detail that could make all the difference!
